Do you love owning or wearing something that you will probably never meet anyone that has the same thing?  Do you crave the exclusivity of watches from master watchmakers and design houses?  The Audemars Piguet Millenary Carbon One hand-wound tourbillon chronograph might be the watch for you.  With only 120 produced, this watch screams for attention in every way.  The engine that powers this amazing timepiece is truly magnificent.  It is a hand-wound tourbillon chronograph with a 24- hour power reserve indicator. 

Chronograph movements display time in hours, minutes, and seconds.  This watch also hosts a power-reserve feature that lets the wearer know when the watch needs to be wound.  The significance of the tourbillon movement equates to impeccable timekeeping.  The chronograph start and stop pushers are located at the 10 and 2 o’clock position.

The powerhouse movement is encased in an oval 47 mm wide carbon case with a case thickness of 16.40 mm.  The black ceramic bezel secures the glare-proof sapphire crystal on the face and back.  The entire case is either carbon or black PVD.  For watch enthusiasts, seeing the tourbillon movement in action with the skeleton case back is amazing.  This also explains why such aesthetic detail when into creating the movement; to the point where, the bridges inside the movement were coated with black PVD.  When watching the intricate gears inside the movement work, the rarity of this timepiece becomes crystal clear.

This watch is an impeccable edition to the Audemars Piguet family.  Audemars Piguet originated in 1875, and buying a watch from such a well-respected brand is something few people has the chance to do.  Owning one of their collector watches, where only 120 are made to supply the world, requires a huge pride of ownership in collectable timepieces.  While this watch is a timepiece that can be passed down for generations, it stands virtually alone for encompassing a rugged exterior with a delicate and dependable interior.  The intrinsic beauty of this watch is in the movement, and having the ability to watch the movement in action is something few people has the pleasure of enjoying.  This isn’t the watch to wear tossing the ball to your son in the back yard.  It is the type of watch you pass down to your son when he graduates college, passes the bar exam, gets married, has his first child, and a multitude of other most precious memories that he will want to know exactly what time it is when they happen.
